Labour Councillor Who Urged Protesters’ Throats Be Cut Found Not Guilty- Guido Fawkes

Britain’s Guido Fawkes reports that suspended Labour councillor Ricky Jones has been found not guilty of encouraging violent disorder after calling for protesters’ throats to be slit at an ‘anti-racist’ protest in Walthamstow last year. 

Video shared online on the social media platform X, showed Jones, calling for protesters’ throats to be “cut” PA system in the wake of the disturbances following the murder of the three girls in Southport last year by killer Axel Rudakubana.

Jones told police he was “sorry” and he did not intend for his comments to be “taken literally“. He insisted he got caught up “in the heat of the moment”…Labour suspended Jones the day after the video emerged, saying “his behaviour is completely unacceptable and it will not be tolerated.”
